Thicker than regular underwear but not visible through my jeans (they are not tight). I prefer to wear these at home and overnight. Very absorbent and fit well. Wouldn’t mind if they were slightly higher over my belly when I sit. But overall happy. Glad I finally ordered :)

This was my first time trying something besides a tampon or pad and I was impressed that there were no leaks and it was way more comfortable than wearing a pad. Also I was impressed that underwear stay dry to the touch. I think this style is bulkier than what I need so I'm trying the Hiphugger and classic next and I can save the Highwaist for my heaviest day or overnight.

Every girl should own Sphinx in my opinion. They are an AMAZING product! I have never been more comfortable on my period before. I no longer feel like I’m wearing a diaper or am concerned my tampon will leak. I also feel that wearing Sphinx shortens the length of my periods because my body is allowed to do it’s natural thing.

I was skeptical, but after trying these, I'll never go back to pads! One pair lasted me all day on day 1, day 2 (which is my heaviest day), one pair lasted all day, I only took them off an hour or two before bed (after 16H) because a little blood came through on the edges and was starting to leave a little red rub off residue on the inside of my jeans, it wasn't visible from the outside though, and if that's when they decided to "leak" then I'm satisfied! They are sooo comfy! I have 3 pairs of Highwaist and 3 pairs of hiphuggers, so I'm covered for every day of my cycle, and I'm happy to be able to say that! Thank you Sphinx!

Very surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a really heavy flow for the first 3 days of my period. I haven’t found anything that would help besides pads. I tried the cup, disc, tampons, etc and nothing worked! But I gave this a try and it helped me sooo much!! I love it

My hip is 36.5 inch, I bought Highwaist medium because I have a bigger butt. It’s better fitting over the butt area than the classic. It also absorbs more that the classic. I have a heavy flow that I leak onto my sheets so bad with a pad I need to change them in the night. Well I no longer need to change my sheets because the highwaist work and catch my flow.

Great product. For reference, I am 5'5, 123 pounds and bought the mediums and they fit fine. No leakage. Could probably do a small or a medium if you're in that range, I just don't like tight anything. Also, I accidentally dried mine once and they are still holding up. I was terrified I ruined my new expensive undies!

I LOVE my SPHINX. I heard about them months before I finally purchased, and I wish that I didn't. I get sick of using tampons after a few days and I now use these when I'm just lounging around at home and don't want to be using any products. They are also great for sleeping, and I've never had a leak on my sheet . They are also great for heavy days, if you want a little bit extra protection.

I bought 2 sizes bigger after the pregnancy for postpartum. the highwaist would not stay up as I started to loose some weight and became rather uncomfortable rolled down. Other than that, the set was perfect. Comfortable, sleek and absorbent.

I always end up bleeding on my panties because I underestimate my flow or just get lazy to change after 12H (gross, but I don’t care). Sphinx have been awesome for me, though admittedly, I don’t have a very heavy flow, so I haven’t put them through a very vigorous test. Normally I have a light flow, and at the heaviest, I’d say it’s a generous medium flow. Absolutely no problems with leakage. I was worried about rinsing and washing, it I had no problems after just following the directions. Love them!

Really like the product and will get a second set soon. Just one thing I didn’t like much is when is time to wash it. I hand wash it and I think it’s quite fiddle to wash it and require a lot of rinse off before it’s fully cleaned. Otherwise, I'm quite happy

I bought the highwaist SPHINX and i love the way it fits and all. I like the material its definitely very comfortable. I wore it for my heaviest day but I dont think it was for that much of a heavy flow. It didnt leak through but it did start to feel not as good through out the day and i felt little humidity.

These pants are my go to pair for a super heavy day (used with a cup). They make me feel a lot safer and more comfortable than a pad but by the end of the day I’m ready for a shower and some dry pants. They do ride up a tad and the waist does sometime roll over at my waist. I got a bigger size, my bad. But I would not be without them :)

Works great I wore the higwaist for 10 hours on a heavy flow day and it held up. I wouldn't do this at work , what to do when you eventually need to change ?. Maybe you can wear a pad in the beginning and then pull it off and just wear the Sphinx. They do work great though. Wonderful alternative.

I was a little apprehensive about trying sphinx highwaist at first, but other than my 2 heaviest days, they're all I used the 3 last months! They work great! Not at all like a pad. They feel a lot like normal underwear. You don't get the wet feeling like you do with pads until it's time to change them. My only complaint is the fabric doesn't breathe as well as the cotton boyshort. Great product!

I bought my Highwaist 6 months ago with lot of doubts for sure, I was of course hesitant and curiou but I have been looking for alternatives to disposable pads for some time. I tried a few other products like cups/tampons but nothing was really working. After my first month with them I was so impressed no leaks, no mess, and no odor! I used them during day and night and pleasantly surprised. They have leaked on me once since buying them but I was having a unusual blood flooding, if I was using something else the leak would have been worst. l am very impressed and recommend.

I have vaginismus, it is very painful to have penetrative sex or insert and tampon or cup. Disposable pads are uncomfortable. Sphinx are super comfortable and discrete. I almost forget I'm on my period every time. I also love that it is a greener option.

Quite an investment, but cheaper than other competitors with the same abosrbency. It well worths the purchase! Way more comfortable that conventional menstrual products. I currently only own 1 set of 3 which usually allows me two wears per cycle since they have to airdry after each wash rather than go in the dryer.

For heavy flow highly recommended
I was concerned that this would not be good for leaks while seeping. It turns out they worked just fine but I had a very uncomfortable first night, because I was nervous the whole time and did not move much to prevent leaks. If you’re looking for a heavy flow sleep underwear and you have even so much as a big size belly hanging on the front (7XL) (like me), it won't fit to 100% but it fits perfectly for my neighbour also 7XL with smaller belly and wider hips. Otherwise, these are great.

I am very impressed with the quality sphinx has put into their products. The panty is quite cheap for this high absorbency and it’s worth every penny in comfort and reliability. My granddaughter is 16 and felt the sanitary pads were too bulky and difficult to move around in. Sphinx labels each garment with an absorption rating which are very helpful. Style was also a concern but Sphinx has produced many different styles. Times have certainly changed for the better, so happy I didn’t have to give my granddaughter such a nice option!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was not sure what to expect with these. I had heard about them but was not sure how it worked and if it worked. they are comfortable ever after having them for 12h. I was surprised that there was not more of a "period" odor when wearing them. I rinse them in the tub and wash them. I hang to dry and haven't had any issues. I'd prefer they were not black so I could see they are completely clean. Worth it to me but again I don't have heavy flow so not sure how it works for those that do. will buy again and recommend to friends and family.

The material is quite soft, except for the absorbent pad part that runs down the middle. They're not bulky and for the most part they just feel like regular underwear. The lining is also the same black colour as the rest of the underwear so it can be difficult to gauge how full it is by looking at it. You can get a pretty good idea if you dab a bit of toilet paper on it when you're in the bathroom though.
Overall I'd recommend if you have a light to regular flow. If it's heavier, you can still use these on the days when things start to taper off a bit or pair them up with a tampon for extra coverage.

No leaks after several months of washes and use, but even on my heaviest days I only fill like one regular sized tampon. A 6-pack is enough to get me through an entire cycle as it typically only lasts about 2-3 days for me. If your period is longer, or you have a heavier flow, you're going to need more than 6 panties or you're going to need to do some laundry during your cycle (but seriously, who feels like doing laundry when you're on your period).

These are much more comfortable than others that I own but I am not familiar with this type of the sizing. Thus I measured my hips and it was a perfect fit!!!!. Perimenopausal with fibroids, I'd love to be able to sleep without pads and tampons but that still is not always possible. These are much more comfortable when I know I can dash to the bathroom in a rush but not adequate if you experience heavy flooding, which I do sometimes. These are not an 100% fit for me, but they are more soft, stretchy, and comfortable than others I have bought. I tend NOT to like other bamboo/viscose ones but these have more stretch. Reasonably priced. Overall, recommend.

These are really nice quality and I have not had any leak issues. Compared to reviews of other cheaper brands. I wouldn't use these alone if you have a very heavy period, but if you have a lighter one, then these should be fine. Just use them as you would a pad. I have a very heavier flow so I pair with tampon or reusable pad and lighter days I just wear the underwear and I've never had any issues with leaks or anything. I really liked them so I bought a second order.
The only weird thing was the first order was for highwaist underwear and the second order were for boyshort underwear, then I noticed that boyshort is completely made of cotton, I forgot to read the material before ordering, my bad. I bought 1 size bigger XL and they fit really good. It's been a while so I can't remember if I used the size chart. I'm pretty sure I did, but I normally buy L items like regular underwear.

I'm 6ft around 380lbs and I bought these in the recommend size for my measurements. Unfortunately because I carry a lit of weight in my stomach these don't come up high enough on my stomach and doesn't look that great under my clothes. But absorbency is very high and I go through the whole night without any leak or odor.

I'm quite happy with the feeling of these, which is my first set of period underwear. My cycles are heaviest on days 1 and 2 and I with relying on the underwear fully, I felt the need to switch to a new panty towards the evening time. I am grateful for not needing to use tampons or pads at work and may couple these with a cup moving forward to allow me to use 1 pair a day.

My periods are really heavy and usually last 5-7 days. On my heaviest days (day 2-3). I use these panties in conjunction with the cup so I’m not sure how well these would handle the heaviest days but I haven’t had a leak yet. On my light days I wear them without any other products. They’re comfy, and I have never felt wet. Awesome! I suggest getting few packs, because you’re not supposed to put them in a dryer and these take a while to fully dry.

my flow is too light for internal period products (tampons, cups, etc.), pads moved around too much (you feel me here right?). Sphinx works very well for me and don't feel any thicker than a pad would (no diaper feeling!)
